We keep our standards high—because our mission is serious. Membership includes:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Complete the official membership application

  • Attend a brief onboarding orientation

  • Support at least two events or initiatives per quarter

  • Stay engaged, responsive, and accountable to the Brothers

  1. Is this a faith-based organization?
    While many of our values are rooted in integrity, purpose, and service, Band of Brothers is not a religious organization. Members from all backgrounds are welcome.
  2. What happens after I submit my application?
    Once your application is submitted, our leadership team will review it and contact you for a follow-up conversation. If accepted, you’ll receive next steps for onboarding and activation.
  3. What kind of work do members do?
    Our work spans community service, mentorship, event planning, youth development, outreach, and leadership training. You’ll be plugged in based on your strengths, skills, and interest.
  4. Is there a cost to join?
    Yes. Band of Brothers membership includes an annual fee of $240, which helps support our programs, operations, and community efforts. Payment plans may be available upon request.
  5. When is the membership fee due, and how do I pay it?
    The $240 annual fee is typically due upon acceptance and onboarding. Payment can be made online or through approved methods discussed during the onboarding process. Flexible plans may be available if needed.
  6. Can I still join if I’m in another organization?
    Yes—but we expect that you show up for this work consistently.
  7. What if I don’t have a lot of skills or experience yet?
    That’s what we’re here for. If you’re willing to learn and grow, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
  8. Can I take a break if life gets busy?
    Absolutely. We understand that life happens. We just ask that you communicate with leadership if you need to step back temporarily.
  9. What happens if I stop participating?
    We understand life happens—but communication and accountability matter. Inactive members may be re-evaluated for good standing.
  10. Can women join Band of Brothers?
    Band of Brothers Augusta is a men’s organization focused on male mentorship, leadership, and brotherhood. We do partner with and support women’s organizations in the community and encourage collaborative service efforts.
